Partner Plays! 

What a great way to improve fluency and confidence. We read our plays with our partner and present to our base group! 

ANZAC Art

We thought of all of the things we know about ANZAC and are creating artwork to represent our knowledge of WW1 symbols. Thanks Ms Steele for your help and expertise. 

Guardians

We have started our GOLD folders. We are guardians of our environment. 

Reading

Students working on base 23 for reading are loving the Rainbow Reading and Toxic series. Ask us what we do!!! 

Year 5 and 6 Guardians

In our bases, year 5 and 6 students created our dream guardian. What wonderful models at syndicate assembly this afternoon. 

We look after ourselves, others and the environment. 

Literacy!

We are well into our literacy programme now. We have great new shelves for book displays and a vocabulary wall for new vocabulary. 

Syndicate Sports

Every Monday afternoon we have syndicate sports. We are in mixed teams with all year 5 and 6s. This term we are focusing on games using small balls. Tball, softball, cricket, rounders and long ball. We are also working on Guardianship! 

All About Me

We are completing our start of year 'All About Me' projects. The walls are filling with posters and portraits. Watch this space! 

Pathways
